FULL CIRCLE (1998), known as CERCLE DE VIE in French, tells the story of a middle-aged daughter trying to make sure that her mother ends life with serenity and dignity and in accordance with her wishes. Carrie, one of the filmmakers, decides to remove her unhappy, aged mother, Natalie, from a care facility and bring her home to die. Though welcomed by Carrie's family, the process is complicated by legal medical requirements, by Natalie's stubbornness and dementia and by Carrie's own feelings about her sometimes difficult relationship with her mother.
Co-written by Carrie and Yasha, the film is also a celebration of Natalie's life and a moving portrait of a lifelong mother/daughter relationship.

Our intention in making this film was to fill the void concerning support for people dealing with their elderly, dying parents. It is designed to help encourage these adults and their families, medical personnel and care-givers by giving insight into one family's attempt to live out a positive experience of death in the family.
The original music was composed and recorded by Natalie's grandson
Jacob Aginsky in San Francisco, as well as Bruno Girard, Nano Peylet and the other members of the musical group Bratsch in Paris.
